Numerous criteria such as comfort, service and facilities are included in the assessment. We are particularly proud of the fact that our family-friendly offers, the generous wellness and leisure facilities and our friendly service were rated particularly positively.

What is DEHOGA?

DEHOGA (German Hotel and Restaurant Association) is the trade association for the hospitality industry in Germany. It represents the interests of hotels, restaurants and other catering businesses at a political and economic level.

An important area of DEHOGA is the official hotel classification, in which hotels are rated according to certain criteria and awarded stars. This classification is based on uniform nationwide standards and helps guests to better assess the quality and facilities of a hotel.

Factors such as room facilities, services, gastronomy, hygiene and comfort play a role in the awarding of stars. The rating ranges from one star to five stars (luxury), with the possibility of additional “comfort” awards if a hotel stands out particularly positively in its category.
